5.2 Configuring Parameters
1. Enter the Engineer Operation menu and press System Parameter.
2. Press Specific Parameter followed by Setting.
3. Use the OPUS Parameter List to adjust the 7000 specific parameters to the
facility’s needs.
4. Press Return twice to return to the System Parameter menu when finished
configuring specific parameters.
5. Press Common Parameter followed by Setting.
6. Use the OPUS Parameter List to adjust the 7000 specific parameters to the
site’s needs.
7. Press Return until a pop-up window displays. The pop-up explains a reboot
is necessary.
8. Reboot the Paystation.
5.3 Configuring Revenue Management
1. Start Revenue Management if it is not already started. If Revenue
Management is already running, restart the program.
2. The 7000 will display in the communication tree under an Unassigned site as
shown in [Fig. 5.3A] below. If the device did not display, expand all possible
devices in the communication window to verify.
If the Paystation did not appear after expanding the device tress, please
verify the server network settings in the common parameters (Server IP
address parameters 43-0007 through 43-0010 and 43-0001=1 [server
connection enabled]).

3. Create a new site by right-clicking the server name in the communications
tree and selecting Add Site...
4. Name the site and set a synchronization time. Click OK when finished.
5. The new site adds itself to the communications tree. Right-click the new site
and select Add Port...
6. Click the Port Number dropdown and select Network Port.
