7 Use
7.1 Calibration value
The needs the "Impulses per 100 m" calibration value
to determine
• the actual operational speed [km/h]
• the worked area.
Determine the "Impulses per 100 m" calibration value by means of a
calibration run (see section "Determining impulses per 100 m", on
page 30), if the calibration value is unknown.
You can enter the "Impulses per 100 m" calibration value manually in
the
(see section "Enter calibration value (imp./100 m)",
on page 29) if the exact calibration value is known.
The values in the tables (Fig. 22 to Fig. 25) are guide values. The ac-
tual impulses may deviate from the table values. The slippage of the
measuring or driving wheel may alter when changing from heavy to
light soil, thus affecting the impulses (imp./100 m). This leads to incor-
rect specified speeds and area measurements.
The calibration value (imp./100 m) depends on the seed drill ty-
pe and the soil quality.
