CORE FUNCTIONALITY
U10C034 firmware provides the following core functionality:
• Multiple provisioning methods.
• Support for up to 16 Upstream Service Flows (SIDs).
• Support for various packetization rates.
• Support of SNMP v1/v2c and v3 coexistence.
• CPE Ethernet — 10/100 BaseT / full-duplex / auto-negotiate function-
ality.
• CPE USB — 1.1 fully supported
• USB to Ethernet bridging functionality
FIRMWARE FUNCTIONALITY
The firmware provides the following functionality:
• Standards compatibility as follows:
– DOCSIS 2.0 and DOCSIS 1.1
– PacketCable 1.5
• Interoperability with main CMTS products.
• MGCP signaling protocol support
• PacketCable provisioning with SNMPv2 Network Management
capabilities.
• Support USB and Ethernet interfaces to CPE.
• Support Telnet access to a troubleshooting command line interface.
• Support for automatically timing out Telnet sessions after a certain
amount of idle time.
• Supports the AckCel technology, increasing performance of TCP
application such as FTP.
