2.1 Configuration And Calibration With Drexelbrook Software, HRTwin
• InstallUSBModem-HARTModemsareavailablefrom
third party vendors; refer to directions supplied by
modem manufacturer
• InstallWIndowsversionofHRTWinsoftware
- Download software from www.drexelbrook.com
- If program does not "Auto Run" select file from
computer and run set up manually
-FollowinstructionsinSetUptocreateprogramfile
-Onceloaded,doubleclickHRTWiniconandprogram
will run
-SelectcommunicationportandclickOK
-Onceportisselected,theonscreenpromptswillrun
user through process of communication with unit
• FunctionKeys-thefollowingdescribethefunction
buttons:
-ReadTransmitter(F3button)-readsallpertinent
data from transmitter and displays on screen
-WritetoTransmitter(F5button)-sendsneworedited
configuration data to transmitter
-RealTimeView(F4button)-displaysrealtimevalues
of water %, capacity, loop current, and status
• Configuration-involvesdownloadinginformationto
HART protocol transmitter specific to application being
measured
-BeginconfigurationbyusingTagID(8characters)to
identify the unit or vessel
-UseScratchpad(32characters)torecorddateof
calibration or other notes
- Edit Damping Time from 0-90 seconds if desired
- Click Write to Transmitter
All Drexelbrook Universal IV Cut Monitor instruments are
calibrated at the factory according to size of pipe and density
ofoil.DONOTchangethefactorycalibrationwithoutobtaining
data that indicates a calibration change is necessary. Consult
thefactoryat1-800-527-6297ifyoubelieveacalibrationchange
is needed.
