6.3 Switching off the instrument
Information
If the instrument was completely switched off, restarting may take some time as
the optics need to reach the right temperature and the system must be flushed with
argon.
It is recommended to leave the instrument connected to the power supply a
nd to
leave the argon supply line open all the time.
To switch off the instrument, proceed as follows:
1. Exit the spectrometer program "Spark Analyzer Pro LAB".
2. Select the dialog item "Shut down" and confirm the dialog field.
The program is shut down.
The computer is turned off.
3. In order to switch the instrument completely off, remove the power plug.
The instrument is switched off.
