5.6 Panadapterdisplays
ThecentreofthescreenprovidesaspacetoshowthecurrentspectrumactivityforRX1and,if
enabled,RX2.Thereareseveraloptionsavailablewiththemostpopularbeing:
Panadapter:aspectrumdisplayshowingamplitude(vertical)vsfrequency(horizontal)
Waterfall:atimehistorydisplay.Amplitudeisexpressedby
pixelcolour;shows time
(vertical)vsfrequency(horizontal)
Panafall:combinedpanadapter(top)andwaterfall(bottom)
ThecurrentdisplaycanbeselectedusingtheDisplay MenuortheDisplaySettingsForm.
5.7 MeterMode
Themul timeterisdisplayedinthetopcentre ofthedisplay.Itcanbeassignedtoseveralsettingsfor
eachofRXandTX.Thecurrentsettingsareshownaboveit.Tochangethesettings:
1. Press thelefthandsoftkeybuttonuntilDisplayMenuisshown.
2. Press theRX1
MetersoftkeyuntilthedesiredRXfunctionisshown.
3. (notethatifVFOBisselected,RX2meterwillbeshown)
4. Press theTXMetersoftkeyuntilthedesiredTXfunctionisshown.
TheDisplaySettingsFormcanalsobeinvokedfromthedisplaymenuusingtheDisplay
Formmenu
key.ComboboxesofferthesettingsforbothTXmeterandRXmeter.
5.8 Changingantennas
Youhavethreeantennaconnectorsavailable.Additionally,RXsignalscanberoutedtotheBypass,
EXT1andXVTRinputs.TheThetisprogramchooseswhichantennatousefrom settingsontheSetup
form“ant/filters”tab.ThisshowstheantennaselectedforRXandforTX,foreachoftheamateur
bands.
Ifyouhavedifferentpreferredantennasforsomebands,theycanbeautomaticallyselected
accordingtothesesettings.
