attemptstoestimatethe“correct”receiversignalduringthepresenceofthe
impulse.
6.4.5 Diversity
Diversityallowstheradiotoimplementbeamforming.Thisrequirestwofullyindependentinputs,
onethrougheachA‐Dconverter,fromtwoantennas.Thiscanbeusedtoenhanceaweaksignal,or
tosteeranulltowardsaninterferencesource.DiversityimprovesthereceivedsignalforRX1,butis
independentof
theoperationofRX2.RX2canbeusedonadifferentbandifdesired;theonly
constraintisifitisonadifferentband,itsRXfilterswillneedtobedisabled.
