menuconsistsofasetof8softkeysettings.
Menunumber Displaysallthecurrentmenuentries.Menus(withasetof8softkeysettings)
canbeinsertedanddeleted.
To
selectsettingsforaparticularmenu,usethemousetoclickinthenumber
forthatmenu.
Menubutton
action
Displaystheactionthathasbeenassignedtothissoftkey.
Tochangethesoftkeyaction:clickinthecell,twice.Acomboboxcontrolwill
appear.Clickitsdown arrowtoshowa listoftheoptionsthatcanbeassigned.
Clickanoptiontoselectit.
ButtonText Thetextthatwillbeshownonthesoftkey.Thisisselectedautomaticallywhen
anewsoftkeysettingischosen.
SomemenutypeshavethetextalteredtoindicateRX1/RX2andthecurrent
state.However for some controls it may be appropriate to edit thedefault
text.For
example“Changemenurow”softkeyisusedtostepbetweenmenus;
itmaybeappropriatetoedititstexttoshowthenameofthecurrentmenu
ornewmenu,accordingtopreference.
SelectedRX This setting allows the softkey to be assigned to a specific receiver. This
controlisalsoacomboboxandisusedinthesameway.
Some softkeys are not associated with a receiver (eg “Clear RIT”) and
“defaultsetting”shouldbeselected
Receiver controls can
be assigned to RX1 only, RX2 only, or if “default
setting”ischosenthecontrolwillchooseRX1ifVFOAisselected,orRX2
ifVFOBisselected.
LinktoMenu Thisgivesa destinationmenunumberforthe“changemenurow”softkey.
InsertMenuandDeleteMenuinsetanddelete,respectively,groupsof8controls.Usingtheseyou
canmakeyourownmenustructure.Notethattheformtriestoalter“linktomenu”valuesifamenu
isinsertedordeleted.Itwilltrytoleavethelinktotherow
thathadbeenlinkedbeforetheinsertion
ordeletion.Howeveritisimportanttocheckthatthelinksarewhatyouintend!
