CONTRAINDICATIONS
TO TREATMENT
Indication:
This instrument is designed to perform professional hair
removal treatment by application of RF and/or galvanic
current.
General Contraindications:
- Epilepsy and seizures
- The first 3 months of pregnancy
- Cancer, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and remission
(after 1 year without treatment and medication, and
must provide a medical note)
- Hepatitis, AIDS and HIV
- Hemophilia
- Treatment with Accutane
(wait 6 months after the last treatment)
- Puberty (wait one year after the onset of menstruation
with a parental signature if under 18 years old
- Multiple sclerosis (with medical note) only thermolysis
- Type 1 diabetes
- Cochlear implant
- Pacemaker (with medical note)
Local Contraindications:
- A pregnant woman’s breasts and abdomen
- Phlebitis and thrombophlebitis
- Infection, disease and localized dermatitis
(mycosis, warts, cysts, etc.)
- Hairy nevi (medical note)
- Trunk varicose veins
- Eyelashes
- Inside the ears
- Inside the nostrils
- Erythema (inflammation, sunburn)
- Oral or genital herpes (with antivirals) Valtrex, Zantrex
- Local pain and neuralgia
General Contraindications to direct current:
- Paralysis
- Pregnancy
- Multiple sclerosis
- Pacemaker
- Epilepsy
- Cancer
Local Contraindications to direct current:
- Metal inclusion (coil, piercing, etc.).
- Orthodontic treatment (braces, lingual wire retainers,
dental implants, bridges and partials)
- Thyroid gland disorder
- Saline implants
- Contact Lenses
- Local paralysis
Precautions:
- No problem for type 2 diabetes (with medical note)
- Botox injections, etc. (wait 15 days)
- Hearing aid (turn off)
- Allergies
