PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: The heat generated can reach 70°C
- IF IMPROPERLY USED this transfer energy may
cause microscopic burns.
WARNING: The Apilus xCell is a sophisticated
device that uses advanced computer technology.
Avoid plugging the Apilus xCell into an electrical
circuit that is loaded with other high energy consu-
ming devices or equipment, such as an air condi-
tioner.
WARNING: Do not remove the power cable’s third
terminal (the ground). This terminal is there for your
safety and to ensure the device’s proper functio-
ning. This terminal helps prevents the risk of electric
shock and makes certain that the outlet is properly
grounded. If there is any doubt, please have the
outlet checked by a qualified electrician.
WARNING: This device is only intended for pro-
fessional hair removal treatments and only quali-
fied and certified electrolysis should operate this
device. If you are not familiar with any of the tech-
niques that are offered by this device, it is recom-
mended that you contact a qualified institution to
expand your knowledge on its operations. The
electroepilation can be performed on all healthy,
normal skin.

accordance with the instructions within this manual
in order to meet the proper electromagnetic com-
patibility requirements
WARNING: The Apilus xCell is a Class A device.
It is compatible for use in a commercial industrial
environment. There is the possibility that some
electromagnetic interference may occur in different
environments due to the presence of conducted
and radiated emissions.
WARNING: The use of different cables, acces-
sories or spare parts, other than those specified
and provided by Dectro International can affect
the performance of the device and can result in an
increase of emission and/or a decrease of immu-
nity to external interferences.
WARNING: To avoid risk of electric shock, this
equipment must only be Connected to supply
mains with protective earth.
WARNING: The device must be placed in such a
way that the main switch is accessible.
WARNING: Use in a professional quiet, clean and
dry environment.
WARNING: This device is not sterile and does not
require sterility (see maintenance procedures for
details).
WARNING: Do not touch the connector pins with
your fingers or a hand tool, and do not connect any
of the equipment until the proper precautions have
been taken against electrostatic discharges
Precautions to Prevent Electrostatic Discharge
The use of a humidifier which would help increase
the humidity levels within the room where the unit
is located, can assist in avoiding the build up of
electrostatic charges. Conductive floor coverings
help in preventing the formation of electrostatic
charges. Clothing made from non-synthetic mate-
rials are less likely to generate a static charge than
those that are synthetic.
A person carrying an electrostatic charge can eli-
minate the charge by touching the device’s metal
casing, by touching anything metal that is groun-
ded or by touching a large metallic object.
WARNING: The device’s operating system may be
affected by portable and mobile RF communica-
tion equipments, such as cell phones.
WARNING: This device should not be used near or
stacked with other electrical appliances. The elec-
tro-medical compliance standards does not gua-
rantee the electromagnetic compatibility between
devices that are near one another. If it is necessary
to have them near or stacked together for their use,
ensure to observe the specifications of each device
in order to optimize their performance.
