1.5Intendeduse
Bathliftsfacilitaterespectivelyallowtheentryintoandexitfromthe
bathtub.Theyareintendedsolelyasabathingaidforpeoplewith
reducedmobility.Anyotheruseisprohibited.
Indications
•Significantreductioninfunction/missingfunctionalityofthe
upperand/orlowerextremities(suchasamputations,paralysis,
jointdisorders,neuromusculardisorderswithimpairmentofthe
extremities),whenaindependententryintoandexitfromthe
bathtubrespectivelysittingdownandupisnolongerpossible;
Trunkcontrolandbasicfunctionalcapabilityoftheextremities
muststillbesufficient.
•Chronicconsequencesofillnesswithfunctionallimitationsof
theupperand/orlowerextremities,thatnolongerpermit
anindependentbathing,howeverwhenalargelyindependent
bathingispossiblebytheuseofthebathliftandotherbathing
aidsforcompensatingthedisabilityarenotsufficient.
Contraindications
Therearenocontraindicationsassociatedwithproperuse.
1.6Servicelife
Theexpectedservicelifeisfiveyears,presumingthattheproductis
useddailyandinaccordancewithsafetyinstructions,maintenance
instructionsandintendeduse,statedinthismanual.
