Merom CPU Control Sub-Menu
Core Multi-Processing
In multi-core CPU, enables and disables the function of Multi Thread
Processing. With this field disabled the O.S. will recognize only one core.
Processor Power Management
[Disabled] (default with Celeron processors): disables CPU power
management.
Celeron-M processors do not support GV3, BIOS automatically disables
this field if a Celeron-M processor is detected.
[GV3 Only] (default with Core processors):
Enables the Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology
[C States Only]: Allows to register CPU Power Saving conditions after
an inactivity period.
[Enabled]:both GV3 and C States are enabled.
Thermal Control Circuit
Enables the Thermal Control Circuit
Disabled: no action: CPU will work also with critical temperatures
TM1: Actives the clock throttling (50% PWM of stopclock)
TM2 (default): TM2 (default): Push the frequency of the CPU fan and the
voltage to the minimum value supported by the CPU fan.
