ACPI Control Sub-Menu
FACP-RTC S4 Flag Value
Controls the ACPI flag (“RTC_S4”, see the ACPI specifications) which
signals to the ACPI OS whether the clock alarm is able to start the
system from state S4 (hibernate). Default Enabled.
FACP-PM Timer Flag Value
Controls the ACPI flag (“USE_PLATFORM_CLOCK“, see the ACPI
specifications) which signals to the ACPI OS whether it can use ACPI
power management timer (Enabled) or another timer (Disabled). Default
Disabled.
HPET Support
Enables the “High Performance Event Timer ”, an advanced HW timer
that can be used by new ACPI OS (WinXP or new). Requires
enablement of the parameter ACPI. Default Enabled.
