Fault Indication Possible Cause Solution
pH too high • Probe/sensor malfunction • Clean and calibrate probe/sensor
Chlorine too high • ORP level is set too high
• Total Alkalinity too low
• ORP sensor is not immersed in pool
water
• Cyanuric Acid (Chlorine Stabiliser) is
present in pool
• Reduce to between 600 and 650 mV ORP
• Test TA and adjust to 80 to 120 ppm
• Install sensor chamber so that it is always in pool
water
• Lower ORP set point
Clock loses time when
main power is removed
• Clock power backup failed • Call a technician
