Fault Indication Possible Cause Solution
pH too high Probe/sensor malfunction Clean and calibrate probe/sensor
Chlorine too high ORP level is set too high
Total Alkalinity too low
ORP sensor is not immersed in pool
water
Cyanuric Acid (Chlorine Stabiliser) is
present in pool
Reduce to between 600 and 650 mV ORP
Test TA and adjust to 80 to 120 ppm
Install sensor chamber so that it is always in pool
water
Lower ORP set point
Clock loses time when
main power is removed
Clock power backup failed Call a technician
