Press the START switch for 5 seconds to start bench operations. The PC launches the software
automatically. Press STOP to turn off the bench.
The PC ON lamp is alight when the PC is powered.
A control software (automatically initiated when the bench is powered on) monitors the battery charge
status: If the battery charge decreases, a warning message is shown and after 15 minutes the bench is
switched off:
3.10.1 Power supply / batteries
The test bench is powered by batteries with 16 hours’ operative endurance, sufficient time for 2 work
shifts. The batteries can be recharged either with the bench switched off or during normal operation; with
the bench switched off the recharging process takes maximum 6 hours.
To recharge the batteries:
- Connect the power supply cord to a 100 ÷ 230 VAC outlet.
- Turn the "BATTERY CHARGER" switch to “ON” (when the battery charger is in
operation, the white indicator light blinks).
- The yellow LED “Active” indicate that the charge is in progress.
- Wait until the green LED “Charged” is alighted.
The battery should always be charged once a week.
Even if the BATTERY CHARGER automatically adapts the current intensity in relation to the battery
charge status, it is recommended to operate the bench by batteries and to recharge them only when needed.
Three LEDs provide information regarding the battery charger status:
- CHARGED: Charge completed (recharging process takes maximum 6 hours if the bench is
switched off).
- ACTIVE: Charge in progress; flashing during charge at constant current, steady during charge at
constant voltage
- STATUS: Active if a fault condition is detected:
