BLM 3750 User Guide Executing a Free Test
9836 3078 01 Edition 2.0 41 (78)
The first peak is detected if it occurs over the 1
st
% (measured on the maximum torque), and if the drop in
the torque goes below the 2
nd
% (measured on the first peak).
The default values of 1
st
% (area of admissibility of the first peak) is 50% and the 2
nd
% (drop in torque) is
10%.
Cut-off frequency (Hz)
The filter frequency is applied to the samples measured by the torque transducer to filter the noise. The
default value is 300 Hz. It may be necessary to increase the value for certain tools where the default value
does not suit the specific tool characteristics.
Time out (msec)
This parameter determines the end of the test. When the torque goes under the transducer minimum load
and remains under that value for the given Time out, the test ends. The Time out is given in milliseconds.
The default value is 200 ms.
Not used for BLM 3750.
4.4 Force Versus Torque Test
This test is typically run on TP Transducers or torque wrench with a force washer. The torque
measurement is multiplied by the Att. Coeff.:
