8.1.1 Power Focus calibration
The procedure described in the previous paragraph can be run in automatic mode when calibrating the
Power Focus. It is possible to calibrate the only the Power Focus with Tensor ST or STB.
The torque reading by Power Focus is automatically sent to the bench, and the bench automatically saves
the new calibration coefficient inside Power Focus.
NOTE: For proper calibration, the Pset set in Power Focus must match the parameters for the
Power Focus reference operation defined into Torque Supervisor.
Power Focus minimum version: 10.2
Connect a serial cable between the RS 232 port of the bench to the serial port COM 1 available in Power
Focus, and perform the procedure described in the previous paragraph.
NOTE: For customized bench versions already using the RS 232 port for printer or other custom
features, some specific additional bench settings may be required. Contact your customer center
to set up your bench for this purpose.
During the test, the yellow LED indicates that the communication Bench - Power Focus is active:
