Parameter name Description Default value
Torque max Defines the upper torque limit dur-
ing Soft start. If Torque max is
exceeded, the tightening is aborted
and an error message is given. The
tightening will be considered
NOK.
Rehit detection
When Rehit detection is activated, it detects during tightening whether the bolt
to be tightened is already tightened or not.
Parameter Description Default value
Rehit detection Detects attempts to tighten an al-
ready tightened bolt.
Early: Terminates the tightening
immediately when a rehit is de-
tected. The tightening will be con-
sidered as NOK. Requires that Soft
start is activated.
Complete: The tightening is not
terminated until all tightening
stages have been executed. The
tightening will be considered as
NOK.
Off: No rehit detection will be per-
formed.
Early
Rehit detection – Early
The Rehit detection Early option will terminate the tightening immediately
when a rehit is detected and end the tightening in the most ergonomic way pos-
sible. To be able to use the Rehit detection Early option, Soft start must be set
to On. This is because the Soft start torque max value is used as the torque
limit beyond which the tightening will be considered a rehit, and a rehit error
will be indicated.
Note! To use Rehit detection Early, Softstart must be set to
On.
Rehit detection – Complete
To make a rehit detection when Soft start is not used, the Rehit detection Com-
plete option must be used. Rehit detection Complete will not terminate the
tightening until all tightening stages have been executed and consequently takes
longer. The tightening will be considered a rehit if the speed never reaches half
the rundown speed, and a rehit error is indicated.
