Adjusting the display and warning tones
The disp lay and warning ton es are adju st ed in th e ra dio
or /\1/111*.
- Select : [CAR]> Parking system.
Display
• Off- whe n th e parki ng system is switched off, only a udible sig nal s
are g iven.
• On - when t he pa rking syst em is switch ed o n, the pictur e from the
rea r view camera is displayed.
Warning tones
• Rear volume - rear sensor volume
• Rear frequency - rea r senso r frequency
• In-car entertainment fader -w hen the par king syst em is sw itche d
on, the volume of the active audio source is lowered.
The newly adju ste d value is briefly heard from the signal ge nerator .
The sett ings a re au t oma t ically sto red and ass igned to t he remot e
cont rol key.
& WARNING
• Always make sure that the volume and frequency of the
warning tones is adjusted so that you can easily hear the acoustic
distance signal even if the radio is playing, the air-conditioner
blower is on High or there is a high level of outside noise.
• Check the settings whenever someone else has driven the
vehicle before you.

If a war ning t one is audib le for abou t five second s whe n you t urn o n
the ignition , the re is a ma lfunct ion in t he system. Have the prob lem
correcte d by your aut horize d Audi dea ler .
Keep t he sensors in t he rea r bumpe r clean and free from ice so tha t
the aco ustic park ass ist system can fu nction prope rly. •
