The driver can control all power windows .

All power window switches are provided with a two-position
function :
Opening the windows
- Press t he sw itc h t o th e first stop and hol d it until th e
wind ow reac he s th e desir ed po sit ion.
- Press the switc h briefl y to t he
second stop to automati-
cally ope n t he window.
Closing the windows
- Pull the sw itch to the first stop an d ho ld it until t he
windo w reac hes t he desired positio n.
- Pull the switc h briefly t o t he
second stop to automa t ically
close the window.

Child safety locks
When the safety button © ~ f ig. 41 is pressed, the LED in the button
light s up. The power window swit ches in the rear doors are switched
off.
& WARNING
• When you leave your vehicle - even if only briefly - alway s
remove the ignition key. This applies particularly when children
remain in the vehicle. Othe rwise the children could start the
engine or operate ele ctrical equipment (e .g. power window s). The
power windows are funct ional until the driver's door or
passenger 's door has been opened.
• Pay close attention when closing the windows to prevent
pinching of hands or limb s.
• When locking the vehicle from outside, the vehicle must be
unoccupied since the windows can no longer be opened in an
emergency.
(I) Tips
After the ignition has been switched off, the windows can still be
opened or closed for about 10 minu t es. The power windows are not
switched off until the driver's door or passenger 's door has been
opene d. •
