Maximum (permissible) inflation pressure
mea ns t he maximu m cold infla t ion pressure t o which a t ire may be
inflated . Also called "maximum inflat ion press ure."
Normal occupant weight
means 150 lbs. (68 kilog rams) times t he num ber of occupants seate d
in t he vehi cle up t o t he total sea tin g cap acity of yo ur vehicle.
Occupant distribution
means d ist ribut ion of occupan t s in a vehicle.
Outer diameter
means the overall d iameter of an inflated new tire.
Overall width
means the linear distance betwee n the exter iors of the s idewalls of
an infla ted tir e, includi ng eleva ti o ns due to labeling, dec orat ions, or
protective bands or ribs.
