6.2 Monitoring the Mediant 1000 Trunks and Channels
¾ To monitor the status of the trunks and channels:
Open the Home page by clicking the Home icon
; the 'Alarms' screen is displayed.

The color coding of the ports is described in Table
3-2 on page 25.
¾ To monitor the details of a channel, take these 3 steps:
1. In the ‘Alarms' screen, click the numbered icon of the specific channel whose detailed status
you want to view; a shortcut menu appears.
2. From the shortcut menu, choose Port Settings; the channel-specific ‘Channel Status’
screen appears.
3. Click the submenu links to view the channel’s parameter settings.
