Information
The logic for the digital inputs may be inverted. Depending on the parameter setting
(e.g. Coding DIN 4M0126), the input is either High active or Low active. For safety
reasons, the EMERGENCY signal input is generally set to Low active.
Execute EMERGENCY operation via digital input
Switching behaviour for coding Low active:

EMERGENCY = low level (0 V DC or input open)
EMERGENCY operation is initiated.
●
EMERGENCY = high level (default: +24 V DC):
No EMERGENCY operation

For activated EMERGENCY behaviour:
Risk of actuator operation due to an EMERGENCY signal!
Risk of personal injuries or damage to the valve.

Ensure that the EMERGENCY input is not activated when switching on. This
means connect the EMERGENCY signal appropriately.

Actuators with Combi-Switch: If the actuator starts unexpectedly, immediately
turn selector switch to position OFF.
→
Actuators with magnetic pen control panel: If the actuator starts unexpectedly,
immediately tap OFF with the magnetic pen.
→
If the actuators starts unexpectedly and parameter EMCY operation mode equals
Remote, Local and Off: immediately disconnect from mains.

EMERGENCY behaviour must be completely configured during first activation.This
means the setting of the following parameters in particular must be adapted to the
required actuator behaviour: Failure/EMCY tripping Source EMCY operation mode
EMCY operation Failure/EMCY position
