EXT CTRL
On: Only output MIDI codes for external use,
without playing tones;
O: Play tones while outputting MIDI codes;
When this parameter is set to ON, all triggers only
output MIDI codes, and the EXT CTRL set in KIT
SET-MIDI will no longer take eect.
SOFT THRU
When this function is turned on, the received MIDI
code will be sent out.
PC SW
The Program Change command support.
After turning on the function, dierent sound
kits will be switched when receiving PC
commands. MIDI CH = GLOBAL CH.
CC SW
Support receiving and sending the encoded
numerical MIDI codes of the FX knobs.
FX CTRL1 CC
MIDI code value of the FX knob. MIDI channel is
GLOBAL.
PAD SETUP
This menu can adjust specific parameters of the
trigger. Use [F1] and [F2] to switch pages; use
the [
<
]/[
<
] buttons or the trigger you want to
set to switch; use the [+]/[-] buttons or SCROLL
WHEEL to modify the value.
SENSITIVITY
Adjusts the sensitivity of the trigger. A higher
sensitivity will produce a louder volume even if you
tap lightly; a lower sensitivity will not produce a
louder volume even if you tap hard. Range: 1-32
MASK TIME
This setting will adjust the time interval between
two triggers of the same trigger to prevent false
triggers. If the second tap force is greater than the
previous force, the mask time will no longer take
eect.
When you play (especially the bass drum), the
hammer head will bounce back and hit the pad
again, which will generate two trigger signals.
Adjusting the hiding time can eectively reduce
the occurrence of this situation.
Adjustment method:
When striking the trigger, make the hammer head
rebound and strike quickly, then gradually increase
the value until the hammer head rebounds without
making any sound. Setting the value too high is not
conducive to fast performance; if it is used for fast
performance, the value should be adjusted as low
as possible. Range: 1-32
RETRIG LEVEL
This setting will adjust the velocity range between
two triggers of the same trigger within a short
period of time to prevent repeated triggering or
missing sounds. If the second strike is stronger than
the previous one, the re-trigger level will no longer
take eect. When you strike a trigger (especially a
PAD trigger), the device will vibrate, and the
amplitude of the vibration may produce additional
triggering eects.
As shown in the figure, vibration A will produce
additional triggering eects. By adjusting the value
of the re-trigger level, repeated triggering can be
avoided.
Adjustment method:
When repeated triggering occurs too much,
increase this value until repeated triggering does
not occur. If you tap twice in a row and the second
tap is weak, the second tap may be lost. Reduce
this value until the sound is no longer lost.
Range: 1-10.
ANTI-CROSS
This parameter is to reduce the false triggering
caused by the vibration of the device between
dierent triggers or the sound loss caused by the
simultaneous tapping of dierent triggers.
When tapping PAD 1, PAD 2 may be triggered due
to the vibration of the machine (the vibration
amplitude is related to the force of the tapping,
the degree of screw tightening, the placement of
the device, etc.). At this time, the anti-crosstalk
value of PAD 2 can be increased to avoid this
situation; when PAD 1 and 2 are hit at the same time,
if the force of PAD 1 is large, PAD 2 may be
considered as a false touch and cause sound loss.
