Note:
Depending on the model of the handset, you can use an Alarm button while the
handset is locked.
The Lock function is deactivated when a one of the user logs off the shared phone.
Muting ringtone for incoming call or message
About this task
You can mute the handset ringtone on an incoming call or message. The call is not hung up when
the ringtone is muted. If the call is unanswered, it will revert to voicemail if the handset has been
configured for voicemail.
Procedure
Press the Sound off (
) key or the Mute ( ) button while the handset is ringing.
