Name Description
Type The protocol to use in calls.
The options are:
H.323: The protocol for calls to H.323–based
endpoints, such as Avaya endpoints, and for
meetings that are hosted on Avaya Scopia
®
Elite
6000 MCU and Avaya Equinox
®
Media Server.
SIP: The protocol for calls to SIP-based
endpoints.
ISDN: The protocol for calls to ISDN-based
endpoints. Calls to ISDN-based endpoints need
an ISDN gateway, such as Avaya Equinox
Gateway for ISDN.
Call Type The type of the call.
The options are:
Audio-Video
Audio-Only
Rate The specific bandwidth to use for calls.
This field is optional. If you do not configure a
specific bandwidth to use, Avaya IX
CU360 uses
the maximum available bandwidth.
Trusted The option to indicate whether the contact is
trusted.
The options are:
Yes
No
You can configure Avaya IX
CU360 to
automatically accept calls only from trusted
contacts.
Prior The option to mark a contact with high priority.
Avaya IX
CU360 displays prioritized contacts on
the top of the contact list marked with a yellow star.
Avaya IX
CU360 also displays all meeting rooms
as prioritized contacts.
