Analog Ring Generator Initialization Test (#117)
The Analog Ring Generator Initialization test sends a request to the active
TN2312 IPSI circuit pack’s Tone-Clock circuit to monitor the voltage. The
Tone-Clock responds with an error if the ringing voltage falls too low.

ABORT The system software is unable to determine the active Tone-Clock circuit pack,
unable to allocated the resources necessary to run the test, or unable to send a
down link message.
1. Wait for the green LED on the active Tone-Clock to go out; use the status
port-network command to determine the active Tone-Clock circuit pack.
2. Rerun the test. If the test aborts again, see ‘‘TDM-CLK (TDM Bus Clock)’’.
2000 ABORT Response to the request was not received within the allowable time period.
1. Look for TDM-CLK errors and alarms. Resolve every other Tone-Clock
problem first.
2. Rerun the test.
PASS The active Tone-Clock has successfully been enabled to monitor the ringing
voltage level.
