Remote Telephone Control of the system
The RTC (Remote Telephone Control) function, permits access to determined control panel
operations using a DTMF telephone connected to the telephone system or a mobile telephone.
How to call the system !
Dial the telephone number where the control panel is installed .
When the telephone has rung the number of time required, a synthesized voice will announce that
the User Code must be entered.
If an automatic answering machine is connected to the line, it can be by-passed by pro-
ceeding as follows:
a. Dial the telephone number and let the telephone ring once.
b. Hang up the receiver.
c. Dial the telephone number again at least 8 seconds later but no later than 20 seconds from the
telephone’s rst ring.
d. A synthesized voice will announce that the User Code must be entered.
Dial the User Code slowly and a synthesized voice will announce whether the User Code has been
recognized or not.
Digit the sector if required
Now the various functions can be enabled, remembering to wait until the control panel’s
two-tone signal is heard before entering each command.
