Section 4 Using the AXIS 700
Scanning Methods
Due to the diversity of organizations and their needs, the AXIS 700
has been designed to offer a variety of distribution methods, which
should suit most situations.
Methods of distribution
The AXIS 700 supports three methods for transferring scanned
information over the network:
• Scan-to-Web browser
•Scan-to-e-mail
• Scan-to-file
You can use any or all of these methods, depending on your specific
needs. Scan-to-e-mail and scan-to-file are also referred to as scan-to-
destination. See step-by-step descriptions in “Scanning to a Web
Browser” on page 39 and “Scanning to a Destination” on page 42,
respectively.
