IftheREXsignaldoesnotinuencedooropening(forexamplefordoorswithmechanicalhandlesorpushbars),select

REXdoesnotunlockdoor.

3.IfconnectingmorethanonereaderorREXdevicetothedoorcontroller,dotheprevioustwostepsagainuntileach

readerorREXdevicehasthecorrectsettings.

AboutreaderandREXdeviceoptions

Thefollowingreaderoptionsareavailable:

•Wiegand–SelectforreadersthatuseWiegandprotocols.ThenselecttheLEDcontrolthatissupportedbythereader.

ReaderswithsingleLEDcontrolusuallytogglebetweenredandgreen.ReaderswithdualLEDcontrolusedifferentwires

fortheredandgreenLEDs.ThismeansthattheLEDsarecontrolledindependentlyofeachother.WhenbothLEDsareon,

thelightappearstobeamber.Seethemanufacturer’sinformationaboutwhichLEDcontrolthereadersupports.

•OSDP,RS485halfduplex–SelectforRS485readerswithhalfduplexsupport.Seethemanufacturer’sinformation

aboutwhichprotocolthereadersupports.

ThefollowingREXdeviceoptionsareavailable:

•Activelow–SelectifactivatingtheREXdeviceclosesthecircuit.

•Activehigh–SelectifactivatingtheREXdeviceopensthecircuit.

•REXdoesnotunlockdoor–SelectiftheREXsignaldoesnotinuencedooropening(forexamplefordoorswith

mechanicalhandlesorpushbars).Thedoorforcedopenalarmwillnotbetriggeredaslongastheuseropensthedoor

withintheaccesstime.DeselectifthedoorshallunlockautomaticallywhentheuseractivatestheREXdevice.

Note

Mostlock,doormonitor,andreaderoptionscanbechangedwithoutresettingandstartinganewhardwareconguration.

Howtousesupervisedinputs

Supervisedinputsreportonthestatusoftheconnectionbetweenthedoorcontrollerandthedoormonitors.Iftheconnection

isinterrupted,aneventisactivated.

2.GotoSetup>HardwareRecongurationandselectEnablesupervisedinputs.Youcanalsoenablesupervisedinputs

duringthehardwareconguration.

4.Ifyouwanttoconnectawireddoor,selectthe1DoorcheckboxandclickNext.Ifnodoorisincluded,clickFinish.
