carthatpassesthroughagate.Whenthecarhaspassed,thecamerazoomsouttothehomeposition.

2.Createthehomepositionthatincludestheentranceofthegate.
3.Createthezoomed-inpresetpositionsothatitcoverstheareaintheimagewhereyouassumethatthelicenseplate
willappear.
Createamotiondetectionprole:
1.GotoAppsandstartandopenAXISVideoMotionDetection.
2.Createaprolethatcoverstheentranceofthegateandthensavetheprole.
Setupmotiondetection:
1.GotoAppsandstartandopenAXISObjectAnalytics.
2.Createanobjectinareascenarioforvehicles,withanincludeareathatcoverstheentranceofthegate.
Createarule:
1.GotoSystem>Eventsandaddarule.
2.Nametherule“Gatekeeper”.
3.Inthelistofconditions,underApplication,selecttheObjectAnalyticsscenario.
4.Inthelistofconditions,underApplication,selectVMD4.
5.Inthelistofactions,underPresetpositions,selectGotopresetposition.
6.SelectaVideochannel.
7.SelectthePresetposition.
8.Tomakethecamerawaitawhilebeforeitreturnstothehomeposition,setatimeforHometimeout.
9.ClickSave.
Setuptheintrusionalarm
Important
TosetupanintrusionalarmyouneedtheAXISDomeIntrusionSwitchC.
Withadomeintrusionswitchmountedinsidethecamera,youcanreceiveanoticationifsomeoneremovesthecameradome.
Usetheintrusionalarmswitchto,forexample,sendanoticationifsomeoneopensthecamerahousing.
Beforeyoustart
•Connecttheintrusionalarmswitchtopin1(ground)andpin3(digitalinput)ofthecamera’sI/Oconnector.
•Connecttheintrusionalarmswitchtopin1(ground)andpin3(digitalI/O)ofthecamera’sI/Oconnector.
