Withautotracking,thecameraautomaticallyzoomsinonandtracksmovingobjects,forexampleavehicleoraperson.Youcan
manuallyselectanobjecttotrack,orsetuptriggerareasandletthecameradetectmovingobjects.Theapplicationisbestsuitedfor
openareaswithnoobscuringobjectsandwheremovementisunusual.Whenthecameradoesn'ttrackanobject,itreturnstoits
connectedpresetposition.

•Autotrackingisdesignedforareaswithalimitedamountofmovement.
•Autotrackingdoesnottrackobjectsbehindprivacymasks.
•Ifbothautotrackingandguardtourareenabled,guardtourtakespriorityoverautotracking.Thismeansautotracking
stopsifaguardtourstarts.
Autotrackingdetectsmovementinthecamera'seldofview,forexampleamovingvehicleorperson,andfollowsthemovingobject
untilitstopsordisappearsfromthemonitoredarea.Incasethereismuchsimultaneousmovement,thecameraselectstheareawith
themostamountofmotion.Whentherearenomovingobjectsintheeldofview,thecamerareturnstothehomeposition.

•Theautotrackingfeatureisdesignedforareaswherethereisalimitedamountofmovement.
•Ifbothautotrackingandguardtourareenabled,werecommendyoutousethePTZcontrolqueue.Inthecontrolqueue,
guardtourhaslowerprioritythanautotracking,whichpreventsthecamerafromstoppingautotrackingtomaintainor
startaguardtour.
•Autotrackingdoesnotfollowobjectsbehindprivacymasksorinexcludeareas.Youcanalsosetmaximumlimitssothat
autotrackingonlytriggerswithinacertainrangeintheliveview.
