AXISMediaControlisnolongerrequiredforvideostreamingH.264orRTSP.DisplayingH.264andRTSPvideostreamsintheweb
interface(e.g.livevieworwhensettingupanalytics)requiresthatthebrowsercanconnectoverWebSockets.SupportforRTSPvideo
streamsoverWebSocketsrequiresanupdatedbrowserandthatthenetworkandproxysettingsareconguredtoallowWebSockets.
Theviewingexperiencedependsontheperformanceofthecomputer,thebrowser,anditsencodingcapabilities.Ifavideostreamis
lagging,thewebinterfaceeithernotiestheuserorrestartsthevideostreamautomaticallyincaseitlagsalot.Iftheuserexperiences
continuouslagging,theyshouldadapttothecomputer’sperformancebyloweringtheresolutionofthevideostreamstepwise.When
viewingvideostreamsinhigherresolutionsthan1080pixels,theyshoulduseacomputerwithapowerfulCPUandgraphicscard.*
