6 Thread tension gear attachment
1. Attach the thread tension gear 1, spring 2 and thread tension gear cover
3 and attach the retaining washer E3.
*Key point
• Attach the spring 2 to the small holes 4 in the thread tension
gear 1 and the thread tension gear cover 3.
• Turn the thread tension gear cover 3 clockwise until the large
holes 5 in the thread tension gear 1 and the thread tension
gear cover 3 are on top of each other, and attach the thread
tension gear assembly.

1. Attach the thread guide 1 using the screw 1.
