Hand-Look Quilting
Sew hand-look quilting stitch patterns using the
threads recommended below:
Upper thread: Use transparent nylon thread or
lightweight thread that matches the color of the
fabric for this thread to appear invisible.
Bobbin thread: Use a color that contrasts with the
fabric for the stitch pattern to stand out.
Blind Hem Stitches
Secure the bottoms of skirts and pants with a blind
hem. Two stitches are available for blind hem
stitching.

Turn the skirt or pants wrong side out.

Fold the fabric along the desired edge of the
hem, and press.
• For most fabrics and threads, using a 90/14
needle will result in a clean finish.
• To bring up more of the bobbin thread,
increase the thread tension.
• S-03, S-04, S-05 are made up of several
short stitches.
