Arming and Operating BOSS Saw
Starting BOSS Saw
1. Turn on air supply
2. Turn on water supply
3. Turn on Main Disconnect (should be mounted on the wall near the machine)
4. Turn on power switch of machine (white knob on right side on machine)
5. Once computer starts type the password
a. Password: boss
6. Wait 2 minutes (Red streetlight will come on when the PLC is ready)
7. Start TouchDrive
8. Check to see that it is connected to the controller
a. In the top right corner, it should flash Ready
b. If it says Alarm, proceed to next step
i. Press the Syntec emulator
ii. Take picture of alarms
iii. See the list of alarms at the end of this manual
iv. Open touch drive
v. Press START PROGRAM
vi. Press Reset
