Performing Maintenance Safely on the BOSS Saw
The only safety device is an e-stop.
Never use the BOSS Saw for production while in maintenance mode. Doing so can result in great
bodily harm including death. Running the machine in production while in maintenance mode is a
violation of the safety standard ANSI-RIA R15.06-2012 and OSHA 29 CFR-1910. It is also a violation of
safety standards IEC 60204-1 and ISO 10218-2. Failure to comply can result in punitive and financial
repercussions.
