WARNING!
Both traps may contain hot and mildly acidic water. Take the
necessary precautions to avoid being burned.
CAUTION:
When emptying traps, be careful not to spill water into the
combustion analyzer case.
a. See Fig. 3-1. Remove filter/trap from control panel; then unscrew
and empty its bowl. Replace bowl being sure its O-ring is in place;
then store filter/trap in case.
b. Remove knurled nut (see Fig. 3-6), located at the bottom of the
particulate trap, and empty trap of any water. Use key-wrench,
supplied with the instrument, to unscrew the trap’s screw cap.
Clean trap, then replace screw cap being sure O-ring is in place.
6. After probe has cooled down to room temperature, store probe in lid of
carrying case per Fig. 3-7.
