CHECKING AND ADJUSTING
TOE-IN
If the toe-in is not properly aligned,
the steering wheel may be uncontrol-
lable or the tractor may produce an
abnormal vibration.
Measure the distance A and the dis-
tance B of the front wheels and see
if the front one is narrower than rear
one by 0.2- 0.3 in. (4 - 8 mm).
(1) Mounting nut (2) Cylinder rod
If not, loosen the mounting nuts at
the end of the cylinder rod on both
sides and adjust the length of the
screws.
Tighten the nuts when the toe-in is
0.2 - 0.3 in. (4 - 8 mm). Be sure of
both lengths of the left and right tie
rod ends are the same.
