9. Resetting the lamp param eters. The “LAMP INFO” parameters which are stored on the controller boar d of the projector MUST
be updated after each installation of an xenon lamp inside the lamp house. Neglecting this update will result in poor performance
and short life time of the xenon lamp . S ee chapter "Resetting the lam p parameters", page 34.
10.R ealignment of the xenon lamp in its reflector. For optimal performance of the xenon lamp it is required to realign the lam p
after installation in th e lamp house. See "Realignm ent of the lamp in its reflector", pag e 35 for more information.
11. Adjusting the light path. Normally the lens holder and the c onvergence of the projector is perfectly adjusted at the factory.
Nevertheless, some applications require a readjustment of the lens holder, convergence or both. See procedure "Sc heimpflug
adjustment", page 42, to adjust the Scheim pflug and see chapter "Convergence", page 87 to adjust the conv ergence of the light
path.
12.R egistration of the pro jector. The DP2K C -series projector is DCI compliant a nd should be re gistered by Barco. Therefore,
the digital c ertificate inside the projector will be used to secure encryption key com munication between the p rojector and the rest
of the t heatre system (server and theatre managem ent sy stem). For m ore info see c hapter "Proj
ector registration", page 59.
13.Projection of a digital cinema movie. Apply a single or dual channel SM PT E or DVI source to the input ports of the projector
and start up the projector. See "Source input ports of the DP2K C-series p rojector", page 50 and chapter "Starting up", page 57.
Use the Comm unicator Touch P anel to configure the applied source. See the user guide of the Communicator Tou ch Panel for
more detailed information.
