Short Term Storage (<24 hours) of Capillary
Perform a three minute, 30 psi rinse with water. The capillary may be stored on the instrument with
the capillary ends immersed in water.
Whenever the capillary has not been used for three hours or longer, rinse the capillary by
performing a three minute, 30 psi rinse with water before performing a separation.
Long Term Storage (>24 hours) of Capillary

Perform a 3 minute, 30 psi rinse with water and then with Carbohydrate Separation Buffer for
3 minutes.

Remove the capillary from the instrument and place in a cassette box with the capillary ends
placed in vials of DDI water.

Store the cartridge box at 2°C to 8°C in an upright position.
