8 Installation /commissioning
The charger has been equipped with a three-phase 32 A CEE plug at the factory. A 32 A
three-phase CEE mains connection is needed at the intended deployment location for
operating the charger. The mains voltage and frequency must match the specifications on
the type plate. The mains connection must be properly earthed.
The charger must be protected from excessive contact voltages in accordance with the
local energy supply company regulations.
If another plug or a fixed installation is required, the installed plug can be removed or
replaced by a plug with the same or higher requirements. The requirements can be found
in the technical data sheet.

If the line-side use of a residual current device (RCD) is required, only
type B is permitted!
If an RCD device is present in the mains distributor, it could in some cases
be triggered during activation/plug in due to the high capacity in the EMC
filter.
 If this happens, then the RCD device has to be activated after
connection or activation of the charger.
