The subframe must be installed correctly before operation to avoid damage.
1) If the winch on the vehicle is too low and the winch cable is going upwards towards the snowblower this may
cause a large amount of stress on the wheels support. Then, when lifting the snowblower, the vehicle's weight
is added to the wheels causing possible wheel failure.
2) If the winch is lower, route the cable from underneath the pulley and hook the end up higher on the bumper
by using a lift strap (see picture below).
3) The subframe should be parallel to the ground as much as possible to allow the wheels to swivel freely.
