7.4 Setting the upper looper on/off
Activating the upper looper
Prerequisite:
• The looper cover and the threader cover are opened.
> Set the «Upper looper on/off» to position «I».
> Press the foot control.
– The pulse drive is performed.
– Upper looper is activated.
> Attach the knife cover insert. (see page50)
Deactivating the upper looper
Prerequisite:
• The looper cover and the threader cover are opened.
• The upper looper converter is hooked out. (see page77)
> Set the «Upper looper on/off» to position «0».
> Press the foot control.
– The pulse drive is performed.
– Upper looper is deactivated.
> Attach the coverstitch insert. (see page51)
