7.7 Remote Control Operation
To operate the door and have service control the CDC system can be connected to
a computer via the RS 232 connection “Read out”. It can be connected directly or
via a modem.
Ask your local Besam distributor for more information.
Software communication
To be able to communicate with the door Windows 3.1 or higher is needed. Make
following settings.
1. A)Windows 3.1/3.11.
Start terminal under Accessories.
B)Windows 95/98 or 2000XP.
Start hyperterminal under Accessories.
2. Make the following settings.
- Auto identification or VT100
- 8 bits data
- No parity
- One stop bit
- 9600 baud
