4.3 Scheduled maintenance
Biddle recommends that the following inspection and
maintenance work is performed by an installer or other
technical expert every year.
• Check if the filter is clean enough and undamaged. Replace
the filter if necessary (see section
4.1).
• Check that the heat exchanger or the electric heating
elements are clean. Settled dust may cause unpleasant
smells.
Gently remove dust with a vacuum cleaner.
Caution:
c The fins of the heat exchanger are delicate parts.
Warning:
w The fins of the heat exchanger are sharp.
• Check the operation of the fans.
• Check if the control panel has stored any error messages
(see section
5.3).
