› Calibrate the flowrate multipliers if a material other than PLA is going to be
used.

› Assure that the distances between nozzles and bed are correct.

› Close the printer door.
› Go to the Control Menu and extrude 100 mm of material.
› In the Control Menu click on Home All.
› Go to the Print Menu and click on the Start Print button of the G-code to
be printed.
› Please ensure that the printing process initiates correctly.
Removing the Printed Object
While removing the print there is a cutting hazard. Avoid using sharp tools.
› Once the printed object is completed, the extruder moves to its wait posi-
tion and the print can be removed a er the bed has cooled down.
› Wait for the print bed to cool down to room temperature before removing
the print.
› Carefully remove the object from the print bed, use the delivered scraper if
necessary. Avoid using sharp tools.
Removing the Filament
› Heat the hotend to the printing temperature of the material in use.
› Unload filament. Go to the Temperature Menu and press Unload.
› If the spool still contains filament, wrap it up and secure the loose end to
avoid entanglements.
› Save the filament in a closed storage space, free of dust and humidity.
Turning Off the Printer
Turn o when the printer is not used for a long time.
› Close BigRep Controls.
› Click on Home > Logout > Shutdown.
› Turn o the machine using the main switch (S).
Large prints can be very heavy. Wear safety shoes with resistant toe-pro-
tection.
CAUTION – Danger of Falling Parts
Removing the printed object before the bed has cooled down bears the
risk of irreversible damage to the object’s shape!
