Explanation of Buttons and Indicators
Button or Indicator Image Explanation
Change Low
Flow Setting
button
When low flow is inactive, this button has gray arrows on a
black background. The background changes to green when the
button is pressed to change the low flow setting (See 10.7,
Setting the Low and High Flow Rates.)
Flow Rate
Adjustment knob
This knob illuminates white and then turns off during the startup
self-test procedure.
This knob flashes blue when the Change High Flow
Setting button is pressed.
This knob flashes green when the Change Low Flow
Setting button is pressed.
This knob is unlit at all other times.
Cable connection
indicator
This indicator appears at the top left of the screen when the
pump is properly connected to a generator.
Automatic control
indicator
This indicator appears at the top left of the screen when the
pump establishes communication with a generator that
supports automatic pump control.
Bubble indicators This bubble alarm indicator appears when the pump detects
bubbles in the irrigation tubing at the bubble sensor location
during irrigation. (See 10.10, Alarms.)
This bubble indicator appears when the pump detects bubbles
in the irrigation tubing at the bubble sensor location and there is
no irrigation flow (usually after a bubble alarm has been
cleared). (See 10.6, Flushing to Remove Bubbles from the
Tubing and Catheter.)
Flushing indicators This indicator appears when the pump detects bubbles in the
irrigation tubing at the bubble sensor location during flushing.
This indicator appears when the pump does not detect any
bubbles in the irrigation tubing at the bubble sensor location
during flushing.
Open door indicator This open door alarm indicator appears when the pump door is
opened during irrigation. (See 10.10, Alarms.)
This open door indicator appears when the pump door is
opened when there is no irrigation flow. (See 10.3, Turning On
the Pump.)
