10 Operating the Pump
10.1 Operational Safety Inspection
To ensure the safety of the pump, perform the inspections below before each use. If any problems
are discovered, contact Customer Support. (Also see 11.3, Maintenance and Repairs.)
Verify that the pump and its accessories are properly connected.
Verify that the pump and its accessories have no visual damage.
Verify that the sockets are not damaged or loose.
Verify that the mains cable is not damaged.
Verify that the generator connection cable is not damaged.
Verify that all cables and their connectors are free of foreign matter.
Verify that the LEDs flash and that a long beep is emitted when the pump is turned on.
Press the Change Low Flow Setting button and turn the Flow Rate
Adjustment knob to verify that the low flow value changes as expected.
Press the Change High Flow Setting button and turn the Flow Rate
Adjustment knob to verify that the high flow value changes as expected.
After installing an irrigation tubing set (see 10.5, Installing the Irrigation Tubing Set), press the
Flush button to verify that the pump starts flushing.
Press the Low Flow button to verify that the pump starts irrigation low flow.
Press the High Flow button to verify that the pump starts irrigation high flow.
Press the Stop button to verify that the pump stops the irrigation flow.
