Avoid routes that include toll roads, highways, or
ferries
Change your route and avoid toll roads, highways and ferries.
Before you begin: You must be in navigation mode or the navigation overview screen to adjust route options.
1. In the Action Bar, tap
2. Tap Route Options.
3. Select the checkboxes beside the types of routes you want to avoid.
Tip: To always avoid certain types of routes, select the Apply these settings to all routes checkbox.
4. Save.
Recalculate routes
While en route, manually recalculate your directions when you make a wrong turn or would like alternative directions.
1. In the Action Bar, tap
Tip: Tap the screen if the Action Bar is not visible.
2. Tap Recalculate route.
Favourite places
Add a new place to your favorites
1. Tap the My Places tab.
